Robert Barrett lives in west Wicklow, Ireland, where he write short fiction and plays. His flash has been twice shortlisted for the Bridport flash Fiction prize and twice runner-up for the Fish Flash Fiction Prize. He won 1st Place in the RTE PJ O’Connor Radio Drama Awards in 2017 and 2020. Robert is co-editor of Splonk and a member of the Wicklow Artist Connect Panel.
Janice Leagra is an American writer and mixed media artist who holds a BA in English from Rutgers University in New Jersey. Her writing and art have featured in a variety of literary magazines and her artwork has appeared on several book covers. She was shortlisted for the 2017 Bridport Prize for flash and was a Best of the Net nominee in 2018 and 2020. She is visual editor for Splonk e-zine and founder and editor-in-chief of the online literary magazine, Janus Literary. Janice is especially drawn to dark stories that examine the complexities of human relationships and to wry, witty writing that can make her laugh out loud.
